Hey guys,

Add your favourite screen shots and brags to this thread, like this screenie today, I knew it was going to be a big score since all our BBs had been sunk near the end of the battle all but one in the end it was left to a DD a half dead Whyoming and my Atlanta. The 3 kills on my score-sheet are the last 3 enemy BBs, but I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the amount of target hits. 360 wow!!!

( sorry for hijacking the team symbol Dan, but thought it was a good thing to experiment with.....just in case I did manage to get it to work)

That's pretty cool Coldbeer, I know how to do skins already, but the thing is when you change a skin it looks like that on everyones ship of the same type, which kind of makes it not as cool as if you were to be able to change a skin that makes your own boat unique and shows up on everyone elses game as well.

Or am I missing something?

Either way mate that looks really cool, may think of doing it myself, probably put the Australian Naval Ensign on a Cleveland would look pretty cool.

Can I also ask where to find the file for the ship flags, it doesn't seem to be in the skin file, so it must be located some place else. Question is where?

Res folder, content>gameplay>common>flags

Is as you said though, change is across the board....now every US ship I see has our logo as a flag....... Very Happy

Thanks Coldbeer, I eventually got Aslains Mod Pack to work, interestingly enough though when I downloaded that I seem to have lost my RAN Ensign, even though it is still in the flags folder, it doesn't appear on the USN ships anymore it is now the USN Ensign again. Bit weird, but anyways thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

Hi guys,

Thanks to Coldbeers directions I was able to add the Australian Naval Ensign to my Cleveland, its really cool to be flying Aussie colours, and yes guys I'm well aware that the Australian Naval Ensign was only introduced in the 60's but it still looks really cool. My favourite ship HMAS Cleveland.....lol.

Yeah, I think the Mod pack overrides the std res file for flags.

Nice work on the Cleveland, just need a little Boxing Kangaroo emblem on the bow to complete the picture....lol.

I figured it out too the Aslain Mod Flag File is separate to the regular WoWs file, but that didn't change the flag either when I changed that to the RAN Ensign. What I needed to do was download the Aslain Mod Pack again and un-toggle the Flags files to make it work.

Can take a while sometimes but usually get there in the end. Thanks for your help Coldbeer. See you in a few weeks mate.

My best match ever in the Omaha......took out almost half the enemy team!! affraid

But all that effort was wasted because nobody else on the team bothered to cap B, even though it was clear. Very Angry

Just goes to show, killing almost everything is sometimes worthless if the match objectives are ignored......

There is a lesson here I feel.........and its all about div'n with people you have confidence in........don't go solo, as it ends badly for the most part.

Just something that I won in my Albany. Just shows you what can be done in even the crappiest of ships. This was just before another battle I had with tagnbag in the same ship.

...also it may be helpful to mention that if you use your "Print Screen" button and then simply open your "MS Paintshop" program and then click on "Paste" your picture will appear in your paintshop, you can then edit and save the image to any file folder.

@Opa - Mate awesome games by the looks of it. My best was 5 sinkings in a Co-Op using my St Louis but the impressive thing was that the ratio in that game was 5 to 1, meaning that the last 5 ships were all sunk by me and I was the only one left standing. Keep them coming guys because some of these games are so impressive they need to be seen to be believed. Very Happy

@Coldbeer - That's an awesome rig mate, funny thing is just 2 days ago I was looking into what it would cost to upgrade my own rig to liquid cooling, I could get a full clean-up of the CPU and Liquid Cooling installed for around 300 bucks, although I'm not sure I can give up the ciggies to do it mate. And well done on that too by the way. Very Happy

Took out the Wyoming( or Whoopin, as the young fella calls it) for a few runs with Dan and Boom today.

Did really well considering I am not a big BB player....but this was the best of them......
