Taskforce44 Forum Rules & Policy


1.1 Posts are to be made in the relevant forum. Users are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting. Users consistently posting to the wrong forum may be given a warning.

1.2 Members should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Flaming, abusing or trolling users in any way will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning. Members are hereby advised that Taskforce44 Administration and Moderators take express issue to infringement of this rule. All members have the right to be heard, have their views respected and to be treated with respect and dignity at all times.

1.3 Members are asked to not act as “back seat moderators”. If members note an issue which contravenes something in this policy document they are welcome to bring it to the attention of a member of the Moderator or Administration Team. Members who constantly “act” as moderators may be warned.

1.4 Members should remember this board is aimed at a general audience. Posting pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning.

1.5 Members are asked only to post in English, as this is an English speaking community.

1.6 Spam is not tolerated here under any circumstance. This includes offering hosting services (charged and free), installation services, solicitation etc. Recruiting members for your own projects (moderators, designers, professional MOD work, etc.) is not permitted and is also considered spam. Users posting spam will be warned and their post removed.

1.7 The Moderation and Administration Teams reserve the right to edit, remove or lock any post at any time. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to Team Members and not users. Moderators and Administration are required under this article to give reason for edition or deletion by contacting the poster via PM or in the post in question.

1.8 The above forum rules where applicable also apply to private messaging. Abuse of the private messaging system may lead to warnings (as above) and/or the revocation of private messaging.


2.1 Signatures may contain up to five lines of normal sized text OR a single line of text in larger text along with an image that is no more than 120px high, 468px wide. 120kb.

2.2 Content in signatures should be consistent with normal writing and abide by the general forum etiquette. Pornographic, Racial, Extremist or otherwise Offensive content may not be used and will be removed if deemed inappropriate or in contravention to this article. 

2.3 Links in signatures are permitted to a maximum of 1 link. You may not link to pornographic, racist or other similar extremist sites, members who provide inappropriate links will be given a warning and have the offensive link removed.

2.4 Users abusing these rules will be warned or have their signature privileges revoked.


3.1 Avatars should be no larger than 120x120 pixels and should not exceed 20KiB (20480 bytes) in size.

3.2 Avatars are subject to the same conditions as posts with respect to the general forum etiquette. Pornographic, Racial, Extremist or otherwise Offensive Avatars may not be used and will be removed if deemed inappropriate or in contravention to this article. 

3.3 Users abusing these rules will be warned or have their avatar privileges revoked.


4.1 Taskforce44 HQ Command Centre operates a three strike policy. Users will be warned a maximum of three times for any and all offences. If the need arises for a fourth warning a temporary ban will be put in place of between 1 to 7 days.

4.2 Arguing with team members after having received a warning will lead to an immediate additional warning. Should this exceed three strikes a temporary ban will be put in place as above.

4.3 Users who feel they have been unfairly warned are welcome to contact a member of the Administration Team via PM, the post or thread will be reviewed by Administration if the warning has been given outside of the above articles the warning will be removed.

4.4 Any attempt to circumvent a temporary ban or other moderator action will lead to a permanent ban of your account(s). Circumvention includes re-registering or using an already registered account under a non-banned username. Other examples include changing IP addresses, using a new email account or other action that can be taken to evade moderator action to hide your identity as the owner of the sanctioned account.

4.5 An exception to the three strike rule applies when users contact team members personally (via any method) and post insulting, indecent or vulgar material. Such users may be subject to an immediate permanent ban.

4.6 Permanent bans are considered a last resort by Administration and serious thought and review is given before implementing them. Even in the case of a temporary ban being issued a member will be given every opportunity to redress and/or edit to avoid this course of action being taken.

4.7 Taskforce44 HQ Administration & Moderators are bound by the same rules as stipulated in the articles above for all members, at no time are Administration or Moderation Team members permitted to abuse their rights of deletion or edition and are required to contact the Taskforce44 Founder should the need arise that a warning or ban be issued. However Administration and Moderation Teams may give respectful guidance at any time for any infringement of the above forum rules and/or etiquette. Administration and Moderation Teams are reminded that we are here to help.
